All contributions made to You Empower Society campaigns are 100% voluntary. We promote giving driven by empathy, not pressure. No donor shall be compelled or emotionally manipulated to contribute.
Consent, Dignity & Ethics
All content, including media, narratives, or testimonials involving individuals, especially minors, women, and patients, are published only after receiving documented consent from the individual or their legal guardian. We take utmost care to uphold dignity, privacy, and respect in every communication. For animal-related support campaigns, we adhere to strict compassion and welfare standards.
Sensitive Content Guidelines
You Empower Society is sensitive to the emotional well-being of its supporters. Visuals or stories that may be upsetting to viewers are displayed with appropriate discretion and viewer warnings. Our intent is to raise awareness—never to provoke distress.
Cost and Fund Allocation
Treatment, rehabilitation, or educational costs may vary from initial estimates due to changing circumstances. In unfortunate cases where the beneficiary passes away or becomes unreachable, remaining funds may be respectfully redirected to similar verified causes or individuals in need, following our internal ethical guidelines and in full transparency with stakeholders.
Service Support & Operational Expenses
As a registered nonprofit, You Empower Society incurs minimal operational expenses for campaign management, donor communication, field verification, digital outreach, and staff salaries. A nominal percentage of each donation may be utilized to cover these costs, ensuring the organization remains sustainable and impactful.
Payment Gateway & Transaction Fees
All online donations are processed via secure and reputed payment gateways. Transaction charges, including cross-border fees (if applicable), are determined by the service providers to ensure safe and traceable processing.
Awareness & Outreach Initiatives
To reach wider audiences and maximize impact, certain campaigns may involve paid outreach, including sponsored posts or digital promotions. We strictly ensure that no more than 9%–13% of the funds raised are allocated to marketing or awareness efforts—ensuring that the vast majority goes directly to the cause.
80G Tax Benefits
You Empower Society is a registered charitable trust under the Indian Income Tax Act. Donations made are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G:
Donors can claim up to 50% deduction of the donation amount from their taxable income.
An official 80G receipt, including PAN and donation reference, will be issued after every eligible donation.
This benefit is offered in good faith to encourage informed and tax-compliant charitable contributions.
Transparency & Accountability
At You Empower Society, we uphold the highest standards of ethical fundraising, financial integrity, and donor trust. We are transparent in how funds are raised, managed, and disbursed. Detailed reports and financial summaries are available on request, and we encourage all donors and stakeholders to engage with our support team for any clarifications.
